At R Lazy 6 Quarter Horses, our horses are pasture bred and raised in the mountains of Central Montana.  They're foaled out on pasture and raised in a natural herd environment.  They know how to take care of themselves and watch where their feet go!

From the famous Scott Ranch breeding program, our stud is by Paddys Irish Whiskey, out of a Doc O Dynamite daughter.  Peps A Dynamo ('Scotch' to us) has an awesome temperment, is athletic and eager to please.  He passes these traits on to his babies.  With very limited showing, he proved his ability in reined cow horse events, then came home to go to work for us. His 2 offspring we have shown did well, both earning NRCHA money.  The ole fellar is still doing well at 23 years old this year (2022).

We feature mostly cow horse bred mares with Smart Little Lena, Bodee Boonsmal, CD Zan, Doc O Lena, Freckles Playboy, Grays Starlight and other well-knowns right up close, plus a couple with some racing blood of Dash For Cash and Game Patriot thrown in.  

We get back excellent reports of ranch horses, barrel racers, 4-H and youth horses, rope horses, all kinds of speed, and so willing and trainable and eager to please. They are blessed with super cow sense and the ones who have barrel raced say they are the most efficient turners they've ridden! 

 At this time almost all of them sell as they're weaned--not too often any more do we have any 2 year olds.
